We are dedicated to National Parks

The Scottish Campaign for National Parks (SCNP) is dedicated to the cause of existing and future national parks and other protected landscapes in Scotland, and is the only national voluntary sector body for this purpose.

SCNP works with Scottish Environment LINK, the umbrella organisation for most environmental bodies in Scotland and has particularly close working links with the Association for the Protection of Rural Scotland (APRS), Ramblers Scotland, Friends of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs and the Cairngorms Campaign.

Five Reasons for More
Scottish National Parks

Scotland has some of the finest scenery in the world. National Parks are the internationally recognised top accolade for scenery and natural habitats. Scotland will benefit greatly from having significant parts of its inland and coastal areas recognised and marked with the National Park brand.

The Scottish Campaign for National Parks and the Association for the Protection of Rural Scotland have identified seven areas as potential new National Parks.
